From Retro Steel to Full Suspension Dreams | Two New Bikes in One Day!
Today’s video is a proper mixed bag of bikes — starting with my new-to-me retro winter road setup and ending with a full-suspension dream.
We kick things off with a ride through East Yorkshire on my freshly built Reynolds 531 steel frame — painted pink, rocking a modern Shimano 105 groupset, and built to survive the winter miles. After a 50 km spin and a full bike check & build breakdown up on Beverley Westwood, it’s time to switch gears… literally.
Then it’s new bike day! We hit the road for a mini road trip to Berry Leisure Lakes Bikes to collect my next project — an Orbea Rallon enduro MTB. Back home, it’s straight out for a quick test ride and first-look bike check of the new full-suspension beast.
Two bikes. One day. Plenty of miles, laughs, and questionable decisions.
