TRIP REPORT | You Don't See Airlines Like Vistara! | Mumbai to Delhi | VISTARA A321Neo

Vistara Trip Report flying from Mumbai to Delhi, in Premium Economy class, onboard one of the Vistara A321 Neo on a beautiful winter day. For sure, the best flight experience of the year.

An amazing and extremely comfortable flight from Mumbai to Delhi onboard the Vistara Airbus A321 Neo. During the check-in, I got the offer to upgrade to Premium Economy for 3500 Indian Rupie (which is something around 40 €uro) and I think it was one of the best decisions related to my trips that I've made recently.

Mumbai airport is amazing. It's extremely beautiful. Unique, huge, and colorful. An airport from where you would like to fly always. From the very outside until the boarding gates, everything is original. I've never seen something like this. After reading this, I guess you can imagine it was the perfect way to start the trip. Well, when I went to the check-in counter to get the boarding pass I asked if there was any chance to pay for an upgrade... and they offered me Premium Economy class for the equivalent of 40 euros!

After visiting as many parts of the terminal and doing some planespotting, we boarded the Vistara A321Neo that would take us to Delhi. The boarding was done by bus, which allowed us to enjoy even more this nice airport. Due to ramp congestion, we ended up doing the pushback around 30 minutes late, even though the boarding was finished 10 minutes ahead.

We took off from Mumbai towards the east, which means towards Mumbai city. The views of the city were stunning. The light was perfect at that time of the early morning. We overflew the city from south to north and then made another turn towards the coastline. From there we flew almost a straight line towards New Delhi.

About the onboard service, the first I want to do is congratulate the cabin crew member that was in charge of the Premium Economy cabin. He was fantastic, extremely polite, and engaging with the passengers during the flight. There was not a single moment that he wasn't doing something.

There were 3 options for the main meal and they even gave us a little menu with all of them. Initially, I chose the sausage with a french omelet and tomato sauce. It was simply delicious. As I saw that there were spare meals on the trolley I asked for the chickpeas with curry. We were in India... so which place could be better to have curry? It was delicious as well. The meal came as well with fresh fruit and a croissant with butter.

Despite the initial delay, we ended up landing in Delhi just 10 minutes late. Overall, the experience in the Vistara Premium Economy class was fantastic. I will definitely repeat it when I will have the chance to do so. Really worth the price in my opinion.
