From a marketing perspective, this is a great reminder of the unique compliance challenges in financial services advertising.
Here’s why:
“Fixed returns” → In regulated markets, absolute guarantees are problematic unless backed by insured products. Regulators generally require language like “targeted returns” or “projected income,” along with disclosures.
“No fees” → Even if management fees are waived, most investments still involve costs (transaction, custodial, admin). Claims like this should always be qualified.
Small follower base → When credibility is still being built, compliance and transparency are even more critical for trust.
