On March 8 2023, we celebrated International Women’s Day with a special screening of the documentary, CATEGORY: WOMAN, co-presented by Innis College, the Cinema Studies Institute, and the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education. The screening was followed by a discussion and Q&A with filmmaker Phyllis Ellis, Professor Caroline Fusco, doctoral student Ali Greey, athlete Annet Negesa, Dr. Payoshni Mitra, and psychotherapist Karen Dougherty, moderated by sports journalist Mary Ormsby.
