“Go To Sleep, Little Children” sung by Big Bird at Caroll Spinney’s memorial

Happy 52nd Anniversary Sesame Street!!!

I decided to post this because this is my favorite Big Bird song ever created, and I can’t find this beautiful song anywhere else on YouTube, and I thought that everyone needs to hear this song!

Just like how Big Bird sung at Jim Henson’s memorial he did it again at Caroll Spinney’s memorial in February 2020, which makes sense as Caroll was the original Big Bird. Although, I should mention that Big Bird’s actually Lip Synching.

For a little background on the song: it was written by Gene & Lorraine Gilroy, and was first performed on the 1996 PBS pledge drive special, and later performed at Sesame Street’s 30th season wrap party.
