Our Ecuador-Trip to the Tena region yielded some true river gems, one of them being the Piatua river south-east of Tena. Despite some rain, Gabriel (links below) judged it to be an optimal level, being little bit over medium level. During the trip, it rained pretty heavily and the water color turned form a green-blueish color to mud-like ("marrón"). We did sneak two rapids; but everything else just provided smiling faces. We need to go back to see once the blueish color of the Piatua.
