I recently repaired a DOA Pioneer A30 Integrated Amplifier made in 1984. I couldn't find any 'decent' detailed reviews of the amp, so decided to throw one together. In this video I go through all the features, including the performance and specifications. I tested it with a vintage Hitachi FT-M70 tuner and an RCA input from a mobile phone.
This amp features:
40 watts per channel into 8 ohms at 0.05% THD,
Moving Magnet Phono input,
A + B Speakers,
Two tape (2) loop inputs,
Headphone 1/4" and line output,
Signal to Noise of 72 dB (Phono) and 102 dB (Line),
It fits the 420 mm wide standard and is compact at 98 mm high.
