In this post, we will see about Gundur, a tribal village located in the Pachamalai range of Trichy district.There is only one family living in this village which has only 10 houses.It is mysterious and sad that the people vacated the village despite the availability of roads, water facilities and climate suitable for agriculture.Adi Dravidian tribal people have been living there.The houses in the village are 50 to 100 years old and the materials used in them are also traditional.A 500 to 1000 year old tamarind tree in the middle of the village is an awe-inspiring sight.The road leading to the village is untrodden and overgrown with bushes that are frightening to look at.It is almost an abandoned village now.
