Norfolk & Western 611 was scheduled to end her residency on the Strasburg Railroad May 29, 2023. Coincidentally, I had family obligations not far away during the same weekend. I could not pass up the chance to see my lifelong favorite locomotive one last time before she returns to Roanoke. May 29 also happens to be the locomotive's birth/build date. Happy Birthday!
Is it also a coincidence that this video is released on June 11? No! Happy 6/11 day!
