Falling through ice is no joke. I’m no expert, but I show you a few tricks to stay safe on ice.
Know that the ice near shore is often thinner.
Chopping a hole is the best way. The harder it is to do, the safer you are.
I carry a metal tipped walking stick. Listen to the sound, this ice is thick. If you hear a ringing, stay off.
