SUGAR COOKIE BARS
1 1/4 cups butter, soft
2 1/2 cups sugar
Cream together butter and sugar.
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
3 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
Add salt, powder, vanilla and eggs, mix well.
5 cups flour
Add flour and mix well until it comes together.
Press into a 12" X 17" X 1" cookie sheet
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until golden. COOL completely.
FROSTING
1 cup butter
4 cups icing sugar
2 tsp vanilla
6 Tbsp milk
Cream frosting together until smooth and creamy. Add a touch of food coloring and mix in well.
Frost cooled bars. Top with sprinkles. Cut bars.
Freezes very well.
