I had the rare opportunity to visit a far-flung located Khaibung village in Nagaland recently and did not want to miss recording the few places in the village I chanced upon. This video will make a lot of us ( city dwellers) understand better the toil, the struggle and the hard work put in by our parents/grandparents/relatives in the interior villages.
As for me, it was a reminder of my childhood days in the village and kind of nostalgic about it on seeing the terrace cultivation and a buffalo ( we used to ride it actually!). The Jhum hut or hill cultivation hut was and still is a reminiscence of many memories of life in a village.
