For over a week, new mom, Sunny, and her baby girl have been resting, connecting, exploring, and having some fun, including introducing baby girl to Sunny's sister, Rudy! Within the herd, Rudy and Sunny are particularly close, so this was a special moment for both elephants and our Animal Care team.
When the calf steps out for the first time tomorrow, she’ll be joined by both her mom and her Aunt Rudy—A debut made even more special by this tight-knit trio.
