Hey wow... while I'm working on my little YouTube studio project, I'm finding enough old footage to make decent little short segment style videos to finish out my Jensen CS-315 RestoMod Speaker Project Redux or the sequel... or prequel?
Ahhh... who cares anyway. Hey here's a new video of tweaking bass on these super cool vintage 15 inch 3 way bass reflex Jensen speakers. What I'm attempting to do, is increase the efficiency of the woofer across it's usable frequency range, to catch-up to the Mid-Range and tweeter in terms of loudness.
This video is a comparison between a Dayton 15" Series II woofer, (which is actually vintage, but it's hardly been used), with a Zobel network and without. Soo.... Do Zobels help? Does a woofer with a Zobel have a better frequency response than a Woofer without a Zobel network?
Good questions grasshopper... thank you for watching and the result will reveal itself to you ;-)
