Sometimes, a place calls to you from within, and in the spring of 2024, that place was Botswana.
Nestled beside the soulful rhythm of the late great Nelson Mandela's South Africa,
Botswana's Kalahari heartbeat and resilient spirit moved me in ways words couldn’t capture.
Through love and a beautiful journey, I found myself immersed in its sights, sounds, and the welcoming warmth of its people.
"Dumela" – which means "Hello" in Setswana – is my heartfelt tribute to that unforgettable experience, to the memories that came alive,
and to the beautiful souls who welcomed me.
This first single from my AfroBlues album is my way of honoring that journey,
from the red earth to the rains, to the wisdom of a land that calls you back.
Dumela Botswana! Dumela Africa!
