Hey! James & Sarah back with the latest in our van build series. In this episode we’re in rust prevention mode & are rust proofing the biggest rust prone area of our van.

It’s a design flaw of both Mercedes Sprinters & VW Crafters that there’s places underneath the plastic side trims where water can get in and cause the sills of the van to rust.

Therefore sealing up your Crafter or Sprinter side trims really is a must for any van conversion. Watch on to see how we tackled ours & treated the bits of rust we found underneath.
