Lets compare the estimated hull weights on some of the most popular models from these brands and see how they stack in up terms of hull weight and look at some of the reasons for the differences.

This also helps to explain why the prices jump so much on certain brands and models, more aluminium equals more money in construction costs, which gets passed on to the consumer.
Just depends whether you want lighter weight for towing or heavy weight for offshore work.
