After I used a micro lathe to turn pens I wanted to take the next step and do bigger parts on a lathe starting with bottle stoppers, coffee tamper handles and even small bowls and boxes on a lathe I decided to buy the Drechselmeister MIDI2 Plus lathe after some time of comparing lathes on the market.
In this video I show the unboxing and assembling only.
Next will be a video how I build a shop cart on rollers to mount the lathe on and after that I will share some videos how I use it.
Be patient I have to be too, since I want to wait until I have the shop cart made.
