Taking the example of the City of Buffalo in the state of New York (one of the most racially segregated cities in the U.S.), this two-part video explores how institutional racism targeting people of color--most especially African Americans--is manifest. The insidiousness and intractability of this racism is such that not even the fact that the city has been run, to date, by an African American mayor for about a decade and a half has done much to ameliorate it.
