What is inside of a Shock absorber? Lets find out!

Today is a bit of a technical episode. I have a Spare Fabtech DirtLogic shock from my build and today we are going to tear it down and see whats inside!

This is an educational video about how a shock works on the inside and we will disassemble a Fabtech DirtLogic 2.25 shock and see its inner workings. I'll show you how to take it apart. Whats on the inside. And how to put it back together.

This is an Emulsion style shock and is a bit different from a bypass shock or a resivour shock. It has a piston that moves through gas charged fluid. Which creates resistance, that resistance, when used in conjunction with a spring is what keeps your vehicle controllable on the road at speed.
