Hallaien, everybody! Well, this song is certainly blitzkrieg on your picking hand...!? I actually had to change my regular picking technique to what James Hetfield does, picking with both your index AND middel finger. Amazing how much more power you get from that type of picking! Feel free to start slow and build your way up. The solo section rhythm is merciless...

I based this song on Metallica's performance of Blitzkrieg from the tuning room video down under. Here you can get a good view of how both James and Kirk plays it. The live performance seemed most practical to play to me, so there might be some small differences from the album version. I went through the most essential parts in the PARTS section (with one smaller power chord bit left out for efficiency sake). I hope you learn and enjoy!
