Muddy, exhausting, and unforgettable.I took on the Niseko Trail Race right after running a full marathon.Through fog, heavy rain, and endless climbs, I slipped, slid, and got completely covered in mud—but the breathtaking nature of Niseko made it all worthwhile.
After the race, we celebrated with Niseko soft serve, fresh spring water, and of course, a toast with Sapporo beer back in the city. 🍻

＊Due to poor visibility and bad weather near the summit early in the morning, the 30 km course (26.4 km) was changed to two laps of the 10 km course (13.2 km) up to the mid-mountain area.
