Rain perhaps holds one of the most spiritually uplifting truths of life like no other.
The raindrops, almost like falling from the heavens, dance with a sense of liberation without the constraints of any rules or pattern. In this apparent chaos there exists an invisible order, a grand design woven into the fabric of creation. As each drop sings its own songs, uniting in a magnificent downpour, a harmonious symphony plays out.
Songs of the Falling Raindrops is such a symphony by five exciting artists from Hyderabad – Kumaraswamy, Moshe Dayan, Rajkumar Bhavandlapalli, Sreenivasram Makeenedu and Vittal Muppidy. United in their spirit to empower each other through their distinct styles and approaches, the exhibition celebrates their latest work centered around nature, beauty and spiritual fulfillment.
Like the raindrops these artists have their own unique paths to follow and songs to sing. While Kumaraswamy uses stylized women figures, animals, birds and trees to recreate mesmerising galaxies, Moshe explores the void and anguish lying within all of us through his female flute players.
While Rajkumar ponders over the musicality of the form and formlessness of nature in its minute details, Srinivasaram explores the relationship between nature and humans through his feminine figures and leaves. And well known for his abstract landscape paintings inspired by his native village, Vittal brings to life simple yet spiritually profound memories with earthy tones and alluring mystery.
