Dr. Alexandre Christoyannopoulos is a senior lecturer in politics and international relations at Loughborough University. In 2013, he published "Christian Anarchism: A political commentary on the gospel", based on a doctoral study synthesizing works by anarchist authors including Leo Tolstoy, Jacques Ellul, Dave Andrews and Vernard Eller, all of whom asked a simple question: if we were to base a theory or theology of politics on the life and teachings of Jesus, what would be the result?
