In this tutorial, we take a look at how to play F# Major scale.
Equivalent raga in Hindustani is Bilwal in key of F#.
In Carnatic musig this scale corresponds to Sankarabharanam in key of F#.
Scale Notes : F# G# A# B# C# D# E# F#
In terms of Indian music:
Sa - F#
Ri - G#
Ga- A#
Ma - B
Pa - C#
Da - D#
Ni - E# ( Essentially F, but we need to call it as E#)
Sa - F# ( completes the ocatve).
This scale uses all the 5 black keys and two of the white keys - B Natural and F Natural to be called as E# .
