DIY CHEAP LED SIGN | YouTube Background

This is a sign you can make yourself between $15-$60 of material that is battery powered and lights up. It is a great alternative to an expensive NEON sign but looks just as good for your bar, youtube studio, or an easy backdrop light for events. I think this will cost most people about $30 bucks as most people have these materials lying around. Even if it costs $60 dollars it is significantly cheaper than a $300-$600 neon sign of a similar size.

My measurements (remember yours may be slightly different depending on the word you are spelling)
2 pieces of 19" x 3" x 1/2" -- I cut this out of a pallet for top/bottom of box
2 pieces of 4" x 3" x 0.5" -- Also cut from a pallet for sides of box
1 piece of 19" x 2.5" x 0.25" -- Hobby board to hide the battery
1 piece of 3.5" x 2.5" x 0.25" --- Second hobby board to hide battery on side

Both of these light diffuser pieces were glued in 1" from the back to give room to stick in LED strips.
2 Pieces of 18" x 0.25" X 0.25" -- wood light diffuser bottom strip
2 pieces of 3.5" x 0.25" x 0.25"-- wood light diffuser side strips
