4K HDR 高野山”生身供” 空海は今もなお KOYASAN”syojingu”

奥之院の御廟橋の正面突き当たりにあるのが、3間4面構造・檜皮葺・宝形造の御廟です。承和元年（834）に空海自らが現在の地に廟所を定めたとされています。その翌年3月15日に入定（にゅうじょう）が近いことを弟子らに告げ、3月21日午前4時に永遠の瞑想へ入ったと伝わります。御廟では空海が今もなおそこに生き、世界平和と人々の幸福を願い瞑想を続けていると信じられ、国内のみならず海外からも多くの参拝客が訪れています。高野山の行事等は年間を通じて膨大にありますが、中でも「生身供（しょうじんぐ）」は入定後から現在まで1200年もの間、続けられている儀式のひとつ。これは御廟で待つ空海に食事を届ける儀式で、1日2回行われています。御供所にて調理された食事は嘗試（あじみ）地蔵での味見を経て、2人の僧が白木の箱に納めて御廟へと運んでいきます。先頭には案内人の維那（ゆいな／僧侶の職名）が歩き、御廟橋を渡って燈籠堂の中へ食事をお供えした後、読経して再び御供所へと戻ってきます。姿としては見えないかもしれませんが、弘法大師空海は確かにそこにいるのです。そこには、今までもこれからも変わらない厚い信仰が息づいています。
At the end of the front of the Gobyobashi Bridge in Okunoin is a three-storied, four-sided structure, cypress bark, and treasure-shaped mausoleum. It is said that Kukai himself established a mausoleum at his present location in the first year of Jōwa (834). On March 15th of the following year, he told his disciples that he was about to be accepted, and was told that he had entered eternal meditation at 4 am on March 21st. It is believed that Kukai still lives there in the mausoleum and continues to meditate in the hope of world peace and happiness of the people, and many worshipers come from both Japan and abroad. There are a huge number of events on Mt. Koya throughout the year, but among them, "Shojingu" is one of the rituals that has been held for 1200 years since the admission.This is a ceremony to deliver meals to Kukai waiting at the mausoleum, which is held twice a day. The meals cooked at the Gokusho are tasted at Ajimi Jizo, and then the two monks put them in a white wooden box and carry them to the mausoleum. At the beginning, the guide, Iina (Yuina / monk's job title), walks, crosses the Gobyobashi bridge, serves meals into the lantern hall, and then returns to the palace after reading the sutras. It may not look like it, but Kobo Daishi Kukai is certainly there. There is a strong faith that has never changed.
