Day 1 Bikepacking The C&O Canal Path | Washington DC to Pittsburgh

Welcome back everybody,
In this video I set off from Thompsons Boat Center in The Nations Capital, Washington DC. I have The 2020 Specialized Epic Hardtail with the full Revelate Designs backpacking bags packed up and ready to take on The C&O Canal Path and The Great Allegheny Passage. I have about 8 days planned for this trip from DC back to Pittsburgh PA.
We didn't make it quite as far as we had hoped day 1 due to a later start, and stopping at everything to take pictures and soak in what The C&O has to offer. We set up camp at Horsepen Branch Campsite that night and enjoyed some coffee on river in the morning.
I spent quite a bit of time at The Great Falls Of The Potomac as well as along the ponds and lakes in that southern stretch of trail.
