Der Naturschutzpark Lüneburger Heide umfasst den nördlichen Teil der weiten Heide- und Waldgebiete im Norden Niedersachsens. Dieses Gebiet zwischen den Orten Hanstedt und Schneverdingen wird als "die Hohe Heide" bezeichnet und weist auf die hügelige und über dem Niveau der Umgebung liegende Landschaft um den Wilseder Berg (169m) hin.
Heidedörfer wie u.a. Undeloh, Wilsede und Döhle sind beliebte touristische Ziele und Ausgangspunkte für viele Wanderungen. Der Fotofilm startet an einem magischen Morgen in der Heide bei Döhle, zeigt die schönste Heideblüte rund um Wilsede und findet seinen Ausklang in der herbstlich bunten Heide am Dorf Wesel.
The Lüneburg Heath Nature Reserve encompasses the northern part of the vast heath and forest areas in the north of Lower Saxony. This area between the towns of Hanstedt and Schneverdingen is called "the High Heath", referring to the hilly landscape around the Wilseder Berg (169m), which is above the level of the surrounding area.
Heath villages such as Undeloh, Wilsede and Döhle are popular tourist destinations and starting points for many hikes. The photo film starts on a magical morning in the heath near Döhle, shows the most beautiful heath blossom around Wilsede and ends in the autumnal colourful heath at the village of Wesel.
