Branjol & Lamb
500g Lamb (cleaned, cubed and washed)
3 Branjols (cleaned, cubed and put into salt and turmeric water)
1/2 Onion (cleaned, washed and sliced)
1/2 Tomato (cleaned, grated or chopped which ever you prefer)
2 Chillies slit (or more depending on your taste)
1 Sprig of curry leaf
1 Bay Leaf
Whole Spices
1 inch Cinnamon
1 Black Elachie
1 Green Elachie
1 Star Aniseed
1/4 tsp Whole Jeera
(Whole Spices can be removed once curry is cooked or you can put whole spices in a muslin bag for easy removal)
Powdered Spices
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder (Manja)
1/4 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Dhania Powder (Coriander)
1/2 tsp Jeera Powder (Cumin)
1/2 tsp Soomph Powder (fennel)
1 tsp Kashmir Chillie Powder
Bombay Delight Chillie Powder (or whatever Chillie powder you have) added to your taste.
1 & 1/2 tsp Red Masala Ginger & Garlic Paste
Dhania (Cleaned, washed & chopped up to Garnish)
Water as required
Quantities can be doubled if you want to make bigger amounts.
