Apart from disrupting the flow of traffic in George for the entire morning of 13 November, a six-hour-long protest march and motorcade by representatives of Uncedo Taxi Industry Association, proceeded without incident. The protestors, including about 140 taxis, slowly made their way from Thembalethu to the local municipality and provincial trafic department, both located in busy York Street. Here Tito Nyakaza, deputy coordinator of the Uncedo march, makes his grievances loud and clear to Quinton Williams, the traffic chief at the George provincial office. Journalist Jacques du Toit of George Herald captured the action for Group Editors.
