If you like Guardian I think this video sums up his ED Gladius pretty well. Block what you can and dodge what you cannot.
Bloodhound's step and Sidestep can be found everywhere in limveld. If you happen to have one on your mainhand it allows you to be a bit more offensive since you don't have to switch weapon. But otherwise keep a no skill shield so you only need one button to switch. Using Guardian's own dodge for me it's pretty much like gambling so i'd like to avoid it.
