It’s one of the most popular NickToons of all time, but it only aired on the network for one year. From 2001 to 2002, Invader Zim thrilled, confused and terrified kids and goth teens across America, before needing to be tracked down elsewhere in the world, video store and cable package. Maybe they should’ve given more though before hiring Jhonen Vasquez, whose most popular work at the time was an adult graphic novel (and I mean graphic), but hey, it was a good show. Just how good? That’s what I’m here to figure out.
