Marine enthusiasts in west Kerry were privy to a special sighting of three Basking Sharks in waters in the local harbour at Daingean Uí Chúis.
People gathered on the beach at Binn Bán to catch a glimpse of the sharks.
Basking Sharks can often be seen off the west and southwest coast between April and August, around na Blascaodaí, in particular when the water is around 12C.
