Volvo Penta U-joint (cross gimbal) new type 27mm bearing cup.
Used on 290 SP/DP C, C1, D, E, G ...and some others model !?
In this video I use REC-MAR replacement parts.
Next time have try Gkn (RTC3458GKN)
What to say it's much easier !!!!
Everything can be put together with very little force !
There is other way and tools to do this job, this is what I have available to do this. Also Make some tools/ adapters by my own.
This job is tricky mainly because of the slope around U-joint connection surfaces ! I use combined press (go faster) and puller (no bent U-joint), only short puller solve flexion problem.(long puller that support other U side make the same problem like hydraulic press) yes some tricks can be used if you have logic !
