INSIDE Aer Lingus AMAZING 'Throne Seat' Business Class on the A330, a review

I must say this was a very unusual and U
unique flight for me. This time I flew with Aer Lingus onboard their Giant Airbus A330-300 - in BUSINESS CLASS - from Dublin, Ireland just across the Irish sea to Britain's Busiest Airport, London Heathrow.

This video was recorded just 3 days after the Irish Government eased restrictions on Non essential travel. But Dublin Airport Terminal 2 was still exceptionally quiet. I would also find out later that my flight was also the last flight from Terminal 2 that day. At 18:30, was very early.

Dublin Airport duty free was opened for most essential shops, however there were still 1 or 2 shops and restaurants that were still shut and the bar that was open was only operating table service.

I was very excited to board my plane. An Aer Lingus Airbus A330-300. This is a very rare aircraft to fly on this route. However throughout the Pandemic, Aer Lingus has been flying a A330 on their daily evening flight (except Saturday) to London Heathrow. Even better the A330 Business class cabin is available to purchase on this route as part of an Aer lingus Aerospace Ticket which costs on average just €150.

Even though the onboard service was very limited and the Inflight Entertainment is not available, this is a MAGNIFICENT seat to get on a 45 minute flight to London. As I said, this flight was during the COVID-19 pandemic. However there is...No Negative COVID 19 tests required, No Quarantine Required and No Need to fill out a Passenger location. This is because of Ireland unique placement within the Common Travel Area. Making it a very stress free flight as well.

This is definitely a flight I would recommend to any aviation enthusiast who want to fly in a premium cabin of a wide body aircraft without paying an over the top fair.

(Update) As of Summer 2022, Aer Lingus has ended A330 flights to London. The same business class is still available on A321LR flights to Heathrow.
