Denver's Juneteenth festival goes single-day due to sponsorship losses

One of Denver's iconic celebrations of Black culture and freedom is scaling back it's festivities as sponsorships decline.

The Juneteenth Music Festival (JMF) will shift to a single-day format, according to the JMF Corporation, the nonprofit behind the annual festival. The decision to scale-back the festival follows the loss of several long-time sponsors "amid shifting corporate priorities and a changing philanthropic landscape," the media release said.
