HEY MAN! Ep. 12: Road Life Ain't No Paid Vacation

Many of my "civilian" / Non-music friends and my students think that getting hired to play music on the road professionally is akin to a "paid vacation".

This week, I am on the road with Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame Members and Internationally touring vocal group The Platters, whose hit songs include "Only You" (recently featured in the newest Marvel movie "Deadpool and Wolverine"), "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes," and "Magic Touch".

Currently, we are playing five shows at Don Laughlin's Riverside Casino & Resort in Laughlin, Nevada while on a 3 week tour of the United States. So, in today's video, I want to show you some of what happens during many of those other 22 hours a day that I'm not on stage, actually playing the gig.
