Sajid Javid stepping down before next General Election

Sajid Javid has announced he will not stand at the next general election.

The former Chancellor said it has been "the privilege of my life" to serve his constituency and he had "wrestled" with the decision "for some time".

The senior Conservative has been the MP for Bromsgrove since 2010.
