In this video we're finally gonna talk about the wonderful architect Eileen Gray, and more specifically her first house E.1027. The villa was designed with help from her lover Jean Badovici and built between 1926-29 in the French commune of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. This is a story of whitewashed concrete and rooftop terraces, but also vandalism and murder. Let's take a look at this wonderful modernist building, and not least all the marvelous furniture used in the project!
