A kayak float on the Lower Salt River near Mesa, Arizona on July 23, 2025. It had been over a month since I was able to get back out on the river, and the flow was about 300 cubic feet per second higher than that last time. We saw a large number of wild horses in the shallow area between Goldfield and Coon Bluff.
