Our stay at the magical Follonico felt like a dream — sound of sheep bells, golden hills, and slow living at its best. The perfect base for exploring the Val d’Orcia.

✨ Here’s what we did:

Montepulciano
• Breakfast at Caffè Poliziano
• Climbed Terrazza del Palazzo Comunale for panoramic views
• Wine tasting at the organic winery Salcheto

Pienza
• Farm-to-table lunch at Podere il Casale
• Explored Palazzo Piccolomini Gardens
• Walked Via Dell’Amore
• Wine tasting at Enoteca DiGhino and gelato at Buon Gusto Gelateria

Monticchiello
• Admired postcard views of the Val d’Orcia
• Wandered the medieval village
• Enjoyed wine and espresso at La Guardiola Wine & Food

We returned to Follonico to help feed the animals and savor a bottle of wine from Salcheto. That evening, we ventured to the village of Bettolle for dinner at Walter Redaelli.

Our final morning was spent soaking in the stillness of Follonico with a beautiful farm-fresh breakfast and one last moment of Tuscan peace.
