It's commonly referred to as one of the greatest science fiction films ever made. I'd often be told about how it was influenced by some of my favorite franchises, and would go on to inspire even more of my favorites. Yet, one thing always prevented me from finally watching the film. It wasn't considered just a science fiction movie, but it was also a horror movie. And I've never particular liked horror.

Recently though, with the release of the newest entry in the Alien franchise, my curiosity was piqued. So, I decided that for the month of October, I'll be diving into the first four films in the Alien franchise. Those being Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, and Alien: Resurrection.
