A senior IAS officer who is known for exposing corruption has been pulled up by the Tamil Nadu Government for preaching and propagating religion. The Chief Secretary of the state has written to IAS officer Umashankar asking him to stop his activities as it can trigger communal tension. Speaking exclusively to TIMES NOW -- Umashankar has cried foul -- alleging that he is being targeted by BJP and RSS for exposing corruption and the direction of the state government is unconstitutional. Meanwhile the BJP counters Umashankar's charge, says his actions are questionable.
