Meris Mercury X and LVX are really good - Why swap to them?

I ran through a lot of my favorite things that made me finally consider swapping over to the newish Meris Mercury X Reverb and LVX Delay pedals. I'm not interested in jumping on any kind of bandwagons or hype trains for no reason, but solely interested in finding things that sound really good and easily inspire. And I feel like I found those things in these pedals!

It can be hard to let go of the tried and true Strymons, and i'll always jump back to them from time to time for different reasons, but when going back and forth I found that the Meris Pedals sat in the mix a little easier and complimented my guitar a little better overall.
