Plants have been a big part of our lives for a long time and whilst it is restoring native ecosystems that drives our everyday lives, the plant addicts in us means we have been collecting plants for a long time. With each move our plants suffer greatly, as we do, so this time we thought we would take the opportunity to show you around our nursery and some of our plants whilst we are going through the move and when they are still looking brilliant, before we begin a new journey of giving them the tac they will need to get back to their best after being moved to a new place, that doesn't yet have the infrastructure, soil, climate or ecosystem that is needed for these plants to thrive.
So take a walk around the nursery with us on part one of a tour of our secret forest nursery and personal plant collection, just before we leave to a new place!! From Anthuriums to Philodendrons, this video has a whole tonne of Aroids and some plants like Begonia, Alocasia, Schismattoglottis and more, plus some hopefully helpful little tricks, tips and bits of information and knowledge that we have picked up over the years which we hope will be helpful for you guys!
Most excitingly, we are doing everything we can to turn a new dream into a reality, which is to set up an open to the public Botanical Sanctuary and Garden, which will showcase not only the incredible biodiversity of the area but also display the array of amazing and rare tropical plants that we have in our collection . . . . and ones we have yet to add!!
