Summit camping in the Lake District. A sunset and sunrise I'll never forget!

Join me on another Wainwright summit camp in the stunning Lake District. On this one I'm joined by Chris from / @theheightoflife We park up at the Cow Bridge car park near Brothers water, and take the steep path that leads out of the back of it. With still having fresh blisters and breaking in new boots we decided just to do one summit, we quickly gain elevation, and get some great views over Angle tarn pikes, Brothers water and up towards Hayeswater, finally the path levels off to give our legs a break, and before long we tag the summit of Hartsop above How. With great 360 views over the Priests hole, Helvellyn, St Sunday crag and Red Screes to name but a few, we set our chairs up to claim our spot, chill out and have a good catch up. As the sun started to set we pitch out tents, sit back down and enjoy an absolute beauty of a sunset before retiring for the night. On waking in the morning we were met by the most stunning sunrise to enjoy our breakfasts too, before packing up, making sure we leave no trace and heading home.
