This is my first birthday on YouTube! Celebrating your birthday in China is a bit different, especially as you grow older. In China, sending flowers is more popular than buying a cake, so as you might guess, there is no cake involved in this birthday! I had an amazing day, starting all by myself at Starbucks, getting my free birthday coffee. Then I went to lunch with someone I love, and later I threw a party at home for some close friends. I didn't spend much - lunch was okay, and the coffee was free. The most I spent was for the party, around $100 for a total of 6 guests - not bad! I received tons of messages, gifts, and good wishes from China, Mexico, and all around the world.
