Age of Empires (1997) - Trial Version Gameplay (No Commentary)

This is my gameplay of the original Age of Empires (1997) Trial Version which is the demo version of the original Age of Empires released by Essembles Studios and Microsoft. I have also shown the trial teasers which are shown when trying to go onto other modes and when you exit the game at the end of the video. I also shown a little fun look at the installation of the game which may be very nostalgic too.

This is a full playthrough of each of the campaign levels the trial offers, surprisingly some of these levels are exclusive to this trial version and some are not in the full game. This year marks the 25th Anniversary of Age of Empires: Rise of Rome expansion pack which is final expansion pack for the original game and wanted to make a special video in celebration.

Note: There are some instances where the game freezes, goes to to black and pauses, this is something to do with trial demo itself.

I used OBS to record the gameplay and used DXWnd using Windows 10 to run the game, i find that DXWind makes the game much more smoother and allows you to play the game in windowed mode, i would highly recommend using it for older games on Windows 10 or higher as it can help run them better.
