Moving into the conclusion, this video looks at representation and its fourfold root: identity, resemblance, analogy, and resemblance, particularly in relation to past philosophers (Leibniz, Hegel, and Plato), thought (the “image” of thought), and repetition. The second part of the video turns to grounding (which happens through representation) and groundlessness, or depth (focusing on the passive self and fractured I). The final part takes us through simulacra.
